“From tomorrow until next Monday 23 September, Milan Fashion Week 2019 will officially kick off in which all the news and trends for spring summer 2020 will be presented.

It will be an intense week, full of events and exhibitions of the great names of Made in Italy.

Fashion and sustainability
This edition of Milan Fashion Week will be green and oriented towards sustainability.
On Wednesday 18th the A new awareness event will focus on sustainability in fashion but not only, to continue on Sunday 22nd with the third edition of the Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia 2019, the green prizes awarded to fashion houses that have achieved important milestones in sustainability in the fashion supply chain.

Milan Fashion Club Pop-up Store
In the heart of Brera, the Milan Fashion Club Pop-Up Store will be inaugurated on 16 September, the space dedicated to young talents and new international fashion proposals. A place designed to make access to the fashion system more democratic, accessible to brands but also to the many visitors of MFW 2019.

The fashion shows of the big brands
The watchword of Milan Fashion Week 2019 will be inclusivity: the Camera della Moda will set up a large screen in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, so that everyone can see live streaming all the catwalks of the spring summer 2020 fashion collections of the major brands. It starts on Wednesday with the Prada, Alberta Ferretti and Jil Sander fashion shows, to continue at a fast pace until the final Gucci show on Sunday.
